I should really put on some pants.
It's a shame, really, that Firefly ended; I was really enjoying the show. The first episode does not do justice to the series, as part of it's charm is in the development and relationship between the characters. And as much as I initially disliked the western theme, I gotta say, it really grows on you. So does the humor.
Well at least there's 'Serenity', the fan-requested feature length film. I honestly thought it would be a piece of nostalgia-delivering shit, but it's great. I don't think it could stand on it's own feet as an independent production, but if your watching 'Serenity' without having gone through the preceding 13 episodes of Firefly, you're doing it all wrong.
Tonight I watch 'Leon: The Professional', one of Jean Reno's few good films. This was before he starred in 'Godzilla' after which I think he's made exclusively straight-to-DVD flicks, besides 'Ronin', which was good, and 'The Pink Panther', which was bad. There was also 'The Pink Panther 2'. Nuff Said.
Regardless, I have to composite together a couple of film shots set in space, or on the moon rather. It comes with an original score, made by non-other-than ME. That's taking a while though. Maybe I'll put some snippets online as it comes along. I guess. I'll get to it when I get to it. Whatever.
